A week in Italy just the ✌🏼of us. 🇮🇹 So A week in Italy just the ✌🏼of us. 🇮🇹 Some highlights of the trip were the people watching in Milan during fashion week, a must do food tour through Bologna, and a 2 day wedding event of dear friends in Lake Como. It was the most heartfelt and stunning wedding, straight out of a movie. I am so thankful for this trip that wouldn’t have been possible without our village of help and especially a best friend who says “just book it, you’ll figure the rest out later.” Thank you @mrs.smith13 for setting aside your busy schedule to fly out and watch the boys for us. It’s becoming a fall tradition!
My 39th year was a doozy and I thought it deserved My 39th year was a doozy and I thought it deserved a place on my feed. Happy to be on the other side. I tend to retreat during hard times and I really appreciated the people who showed up and surrounded us with love during a tough year. Too many to picture but you all know who you are. 😚 So, while it would be very easy to call it a crappy year, I reflect back on in as a pretty good one. MY DREAM HEADBOARD 🖤 I knew I wanted something MY DREAM HEADBOARD 🖤 I knew I wanted something to define our bedroom space. This headboard complete with nooks with outlets to hold your phone and favorite book, a light switch so you don’t have to leave bed to turn out the light, a ledge to display your favorite things and hold a glass of water, and the warmth and texture of wood make it feel like a stay at a dreamy hotel every night of the week. ☺️✨😴

Sofa finally arrived! ✔️ Art Wall coming along ✔️ Coffee table large enough for family game night ✔️ Music corner ✔️ Table by the window to soak up all the sun while I work ✔️ Next I want to add a large piece of art work to adjacent wall and some side tables. Making a home takes time, bit by bit 🖤
