My 39th year was a doozy and I thought it deserved a place on my feed.

Happy to be on the other side. I tend to retreat during hard times and I really appreciated the people who showed up and surrounded us with love during a tough year. Too many to picture but you all know who you are. 😚

So, while it would be very easy to call it a crappy year, I reflect back on in as a pretty good one.

Welcoming my 40th year, stronger and more resilient.

MY DREAM HEADBOARD 🖤

I knew I wanted something to define our bedroom space. This headboard complete with nooks with outlets to hold your phone and favorite book, a light switch so you don’t have to leave bed to turn out the light, a ledge to display your favorite things and hold a glass of water, and the warmth and texture of wood make it feel like a stay at a dreamy hotel every night of the week. ☺️✨😴

Table by the window to soak up all the sun while I work ✔️

Next I want to add a large piece of art work to adjacent wall and some side tables.

I designed this bedroom a couple years ago for the #oneroomchallenge. I still love this space so much I’ve been thinking about what I want to carry over to our next bedroom and how to evolve it in a way that fits the vibe and style of our new house. The slat wall was a labor of love and I’m thinking some sort of wood feature is a must. What would you keep?
