It’s a beautiful thing to meet like minded peopl It’s a beautiful thing to meet like minded people miles away. I was so lucky to meet Tahlia of @homivore_kin who lives in Australia through our YouTube channels. We connected over our love for the @santamonicaproper hotel and the concept of slow design. A concept we are both very passionate about.

Renovation is not a fast process as much as the tv shows want to show you it can be. To intentionally put together a home takes patience, restraint, and time. @homivore_kin and I decided to dig deeper into what it means to follow a slow design approach and share our unique perspectives on it.

Link in bio for full video. Then head over to @homivore_kin and give her some love 🖤
I made that! 👆🏼 I just finished a 4 day Dan I made that! 👆🏼
I just finished a 4 day Danish cord stool making class taught by the talented @erin.dace at the @sandiegocraftcollective. 16 hours of cutting, shaping, drilling, gluing, clamping, waxing, and weaving, and I have myself a traditional danish stool! It was incredible what we fit into those 4 intensive nights of learning thanks to Erin and her amazing teaching. It’s beyond fulfilling to see it start from a couple hunks of wood and some cord to what it is now. *more in stories

I also have to thank @bensullinsofficial for holding down the house and doing 4 nights of dinner and bedtime duty alone with a broken fridge and crazy kids. Te amo mucho mi amor 😚
I may be a bit more absent on here than usual. I’m in full on mom mode over here, trying not to over do it this summer but still enjoying all the precious time with my boys. My oldest is turning 6 this weekend and my youngest is entering toddlerhood and I’m now remembering it’s not my favorite stage. How is such a cute and tiny little person so crazy!? 😂😬

The color palette at my current renovation project The color palette at my current renovation project is much warmer and with aged materials but I’m still a sucker for all the #scandi vibes of this space 🖤
